Multicursor is a non-contact photonics-based measurement system that is mounted on the curing line after each curing station.
Travelling furniture pieces are scanned by the sensor system indicating 15-80 data points for each scan.
The sensor information is processed in real-time.
If the system sees that measurements are below
a certain threshold the operator gets a warning.
Historical measurement data is stored & analyzed for further process analysis, documentation preparation and feedback for process improvements.
The infrared optical system can determine the quality of the non-contact varnish hardening at a distance of 5 cm from the measuring surface. Our adaptive technology can adapt to any UV varnish used in the furniture industry.
Multisensor contactless system evaluates the hardening quality of each UV varnish layer in real-time.
This allows to identify the problematic layers on spot, identify reasons why hardening is not fully finished and alert the production staff about the changes.

2.1 Depending on the size of the production process from several to 10 and more varnish quality sensor units can be used on the production line. The sensors are of the IoT type and synchronized with each other and particularly measure the level of surface hardening (penetration 2-5 μm), that’s why the UV varnish hardness evaluation system is multi-sensor.
2.2 The surface texture of the furniture panel has an influence on the measured result. If the production line speed is stable, the system is able to eliminate bias. This is especially important when the furniture panel is modified with only a few coats of varnish.
3. The data collected by the multi-sensor equipment is processed by an algorithm in the cloud. This allows remote, flexible refinement of existing system algorithms and smooth introduction of the new products.
4. Interactive software has been developed for production planning, process tracking and report generation.
